Overnight oats are an easy, no cook way to have a healthy breakfast (or snack) in minutes.
Overnight oats
1/2 cup oats ( I use steel cut oats)
1/2 cup liquid (water or some type of milk)
1 Tbsp. Sweetener (honey, maple syrup, stevia, etc.)
Optional:
1tsp vanilla
Spices: cinnamon or nutmeg are my favorites
Fruit (even dried fruit)
Nuts
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp flax seeds or meal
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
In the morning, you can top it with fresh fruit and nuts. For added protein, mix protein powder in it. I like to put it in a mason jar and then it becomes a healthy, portable breakfast!
